Music Career
Upon graduation from high school, Eme B set out to build a more personal relationship with God and through this quest, she birthed out her first single Who am I which she released in the year 2022. According to Eme, Who am I was birthed in 2019 at a time when she was depressed and broken with no hope for tomorrow, but God spoke to her and assured her of His unconditional love.
She knew at that moment that she wanted to share her gift with the world and use her life experiences to capture souls for the Kingdom of God. Her single garnered many positive reviews and paved the way for four nominations in the Eastern Music Awards 2022. She was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, Gospel Song of the Year, Gospel Act of the Year and Eastern International Based Act of the Year. Out of these four categories, she won Gospel Act of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.
A strong believer in unity, Eme continues to incorporate different languages into her music to spread the Gospel of Jesus to all nations. Shortly after the release of Who am I, she released Miracle God, an Urban-Gospel song that took many by surprise, due to her incorporation of rap and Afro-fusion. She also released her newest single The Omnipotent in December of 2022 which declares the immense power of God and his sovereignty. At the age of 21 years old, Eme B is drawing people of all ages and nations to Christ through her dedication to the Christ
About Eme B
Emerald Serwaah Boateng Bekoe, popularly known as Eme B is a US based Ghanaian gospel musician born on April 3rd, 2001, in Koforidua, a town in Ghana. At the very young age of 5, Eme B discovered her ability to sing and write songs so she would sing in church whenever she had the opportunity.
She was raised by her grandmother until she was 9 years old, when they came to the United States to live with her father, Pastor Jerry Boateng.
Upon arrival, she immediately joined her local church choir and quickly
began to lead the praise and worship team. Although Eme continued to sing in her church choir, she
stopped writing songs after a few years, due to some difficulties and life challenges she faced in her high
school, Smyrna High School.
Education
Eme B graduated from her high school in the year 2019 and moved on to join the United States Army in
the year 2020. Once she returned home, she enrolled in Purdue Global University to earn her Associates
Degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Networking and is currently pursuing her
Bachelor’s Degree, alongside her music ministry
